It works. It's cheap. It's small.
What else do you need to hear, right?
First things first, bought just as is, it only plays off of a USB drive; meaning you plug in a USB stick with a movie on it and with the remote/buttons on the projector you find the USB (easy to do) and play whatever you want from it.
I'm not very tech-savy but that was pretty easy
Set-up is virtually non-existant.
It's ready right out of the box. Just plug that sucker in, get the USB in, AAA batteries in the remote (optional, actually) and play your movie/watch your photos.
Projection is actually pretty clear. I set mine up on a shelf in my room and played it on a plain white wall directly across from it. I want to say it was about 8 feet away and I could read out the cast from the movie credits perfectly fine. And it's a very standard size. I wasn't looking for a home-movie-theatre type of thing. This is perfect for date nights, or for kids to watch a fun movie without hogging the TV. Actually pretty hipster-like too lol
